Following the opening of our new Toronto base in April, Intuition continues it’s expansion with a new office in Amsterdam. Business Development Executive

Intuition is a leading international provider of knowledge services into Fortune 500 Companies. We are currently recruiting for the role of Business Development Executive based in our Sydney office.

As a member of the Asia Pacific sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities in our vertical markets, as well as researching and selling business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand. They will grow strategic relationships and utilize commercial acumen to define and maximize opportunities.

This role will suit a business professional with strong credentials in sales and a clear focus on solution selling. Experience in eLearning, a proven record in relationship building with both internal and external partners, and an aptitude for innovation will ensure success.

This role involves:

Prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities in our vertical markets

Solution selling, pricing and closing deals with our range of products, specifically in financial markets
Generating new business and managing existing business

Using existing contacts within the industry to concentrate on business development and raising the profile of the organization
Participating in the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plans
Achieving personal sales targets
Evaluating competition
Actively using the relevant CRM system to record all activities
Working with the sales support team
Liaising with senior management with regard to opportunities and pricing on all accounts

The successful candidate will:

Possess excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Be educated to degree level, with experience in solution selling (ideally in the eLearning sector)
Have proven success in building cross-functional and external relationships
Be self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
Have the ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously, at a very fast pace and to tight deadlines
Be able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times

Intuition and the International Centre for Financial Regulation (ICFR) launched a new online regulatory portal. The Portal combines ICFR’s depth of knowledge and insight on financial regulation and Intuition’s widely acclaimed online tutorials.

The personalised design helps users filter the increasing volume of regulatory material to find highly relevant and applicable information. The portal contains news items (daily updates and weekly summaries), research papers (created by ICFR and its partners in financial services, government, academia and professional services) and structured elearning tutorials (Regulation, Compliance, Risk Management and Introductory courses on a wide range of financial products).
