Infection Control
In partnership with the NHS Core Learning Unit and Thames Valley University London, Intuition designed and developed the online National Infection Control Training program for use by all NHS staff.
The program contains two versions (for clinical and non-clinical staff) delivered online
Course 1 – Infection Prevention and You
Course 2 – Principles of Infection Prevention
Each course contains a number of tutorials on topics such as Risks to Patients, Hand Hygiene, Personal Protective Equipment and Waste and Sharps.
Vascular Access Devices Part 1 and Part 2
These modules are targeted at clinical staff and aim to:
- Highlight the infection risks associated with the use of vascular access devices
- Describe the elements of a recommended evidence-based care bundle to minimize infection risks
- Identify resources that can be used to audit and promote best practice in preventing infections
