Your hosts:

Vanessa Fontana graduated from Binghamton University with a BS in Business Administration and concentrations in Marketing and Finance in May of 2021.

She works at Intuition as a Junior Account Manager and Social Media Strategist, pairing technical resourcefulness with a creative spirit. Once an aspiring writer, political news broadcaster, law student – Vanessa has considered many different career tracks and is familiar with the feat of making decisions that have the potential to change the trajectory of one’s life.

She plans to cultivate a future of forward-thinking innovation and mindfulness, one day becoming a leader and mentor in her field

Rich LeGrand of Intuition

Rich LeGrand is a recent graduate from Washington and Lee University with a BS in Business Administration and dual minors in Philosophy and Studio Art.

With strong passions for people, innovation, and creativity, Rich is an entrepreneur and future CEO currently working as an Account Manager and Business Development associate across all verticals at Intuition.

Rich is looking to make a name for himself in the new age of the free market while always working to keep that balance of ambition and hustle paired with freedom and positivity.

Jeff Schatten is an assistant professor of business administration at Washington and Lee University. Jeff received his B.A. in Philosophy at the University of Maryland and went on to earn his MBA at Georgia Tech, and his Ph.D. in Managerial Sciences at Georgia State University.

Following the 2008 financial crisis, Jeff started and developed a successful residential real estate investment company. He has also worked as a consultant in a social enterprise start-up incubator in Cape Town, South Africa in addition to being a pro-bono strategy consultant for several nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Jeff hosts a very interesting and highly rated (4.9/5) management podcast called “Demystifying Organizations.”

As a professor Jeff teaches business courses that stem from his research in management and psychology: primarily focusing on organizational behavior, negotiation strategy, leadership, and decision making.
